AUDINATE: AUDIO ELECTRONICS TEST SYSTEMS
Delivering a solution that could test multiple variants of a product while supporting multiple test configurations, Medulla worked with several parties to develop system control software for Audinate. With a user interface that configures dynamically based on user access rights and a debug mode with soft front panel access to all instrumentation, Medulla’s solution allows test engineers to view or interact with the test instruments during runtime.
MEDICAL DEVICE MANUFACTURING: PROCESS AUTOMATION
Medulla’s platform is helping Cook Medical monitor select stages of the device assembly process, using digital interfaces for direct communication with equipment in use on the manufacturing line. Performance of each assembled product is tracked against the manufacturing metadata captured from each machine to develop relationship models and help Cook engineers gain better insight into the assembly process.
DOWNER RAIL: REAL TIME IN-SITU TESTING
Developing a high-speed stress and strain logging system, Medulla helped Downer EDI commission train carriages for Sydney Rail. Designing software to efficiently acquire, store and post-process large volumes of dynamic strain gauge data from 60 channels, Medulla developed a logging system to simultaneously sample all transducers and stream to file. We also designed a tool to allow engineers to perform fast waterfall analysis of large data sets.
